The Mixx Analog Plus uses a Anti-Skip Memory Buffer system, which reads a section of the CD in advance — usually around a minute — and stores it temporarily in memory. Because the player is working from this memory rather than reading the disc constantly, you might notice a very slight half-second gap between tracks. This is expected and nothing to worry about.
The buffering system also means that minor scratches or marks on the disc are far less likely to interrupt playback, as the unit may not be reading that exact section in real time. Once more data is needed, the CD will start spinning again automatically.
One important thing to remember: wait for the CD to stop spinning completely before removing it, especially if you’ve paused or stopped mid-track. The player will pick up exactly where you left off the next time you play the disc.
