If your StreamBuds Switch S7 aren't powering on, charging, or connecting as expected, there are a few simple checks you can carry out before reaching out to our support team.
Follow the steps below to help get them working again.
Check if the earbuds are Powering On:
Start by removing both earbuds from the charging case. They should power on automatically — you’ll hear the voice prompt “Power on, Pairing,” and see a white LED light flashing on at least one earbud.
If there’s no sound or light:
Place the earbuds back into the case and ensure the lid is closed securely.
Ensure the charging case is fully charged and that the earbuds are seated properly.
Check if the LEDs light up briefly when seated — this confirms they’re receiving power.
If there’s no response, it’s likely the earbuds aren’t charging.
Make sure the earbuds are charging properly:
Proper charging depends on good contact between the earbuds and case. Place both earbuds back in the charging case and make sure the charging pins inside the case and the metal contacts on each earbud are clean and free from debris.
Inspect the charging plates on both earbuds and the pins inside the charging case.
Clean them gently with an alcohol-based wipe or non-perfumed antiseptic wipe. Avoid anything containing soap or fragrance, as these can leave residue.
Ensure the case itself is charged, and place the earbuds back inside to try again.
Disconnect from any previously paired devices:
The StreamBuds Switch S7 earbuds will automatically try to reconnect to the last device they were paired with. This can prevent them appearing on a new device.
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously paired phones, tablets, or laptops nearby.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your current device and remove “MIXX Switch S7” from the list if it appears.
Now remove both earbuds from the case — wait for the white LED on one earbud to flash, then reconnect via Bluetooth.
The earbuds aren’t syncing with each other (dual pairing issue):
If both earbuds are flashing white continuously, they haven’t dual paired properly. In this case, they’ll need to be reset. Here's a quick guide:
If both earbuds continuously show a flashing white LED, they haven’t dual paired properly. In this case, they’ll need to be reset. You’ll need to reset them:
Tap the touch sensor on each earbud four times to manually power them off.
Place both earbuds into the charging case and close the lid.
Wait a few seconds, then remove them again.
You should hear “Power on, Pairing,” followed by a short ”Beep”, and see only one earbud’s LED flashing white — this means they’ve successfully dual paired and are ready to connect to your device.
