If your Mixx AirFlow Open Ear Headphones aren’t powering on, charging properly, or connecting via Bluetooth, don’t worry — there are a few simple checks you can carry out before reaching out to our Customer Support Team.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and get your headphones working again.
Are the headphones powering on?
Remove both headphones from the charging case. They should switch on automatically and begin the dual pairing process. You’ll hear a voice prompt: “Power on, Pairing” and see flashing red and white LEDs.
-
If there’s no audio prompt or LED activity:
Return both headphones to the case and ensure the lid is fully closed.
Confirm the charging case has battery and the headphones are seated correctly.
When placing the headphones in the case, check for a brief white light on the charging case indicator, followed by a solid red light on the headphones — this confirms they are charging.
If there’s still no response, the headphones may not be receiving power.
Make sure they’re charging properly
Charging issues often stem from poor contact between the headphones and the case.
Examine the charging pins in the case and the metal contacts on the headphones.
Gently clean both using a soft cloth or alcohol-based wipe — avoid anything with fragrance or soap, as this may leave residue.
Charge the case using the supplied USB-C cable, then place the headphones inside and close the lid for a few minutes.
Disconnect from any previously paired devices
If your Mixx AirFlow headphones aren’t appearing in your Bluetooth list, they may be trying to reconnect to a previously paired device.
Switch off Bluetooth on any other devices nearby (e.g. phones, tablets, or laptops) that may have been paired before.
On your current device, remove “MIXX AirFlow” from the Bluetooth list if visible.
Now remove the headphones from the case again. One headphone should flash red and white, while the other flashes white every few seconds — this confirms a successful dual pair, ready to connect.
Are the headphones not pairing together (Dual Pairing issue)?
If both headphones continue to flash red and white and won’t connect to each other, they haven’t Dual Paired properly and will need to be reset.
Follow these reset steps:
Turn off Bluetooth on your device.
Remove both headphones from the charging case.
Power off each headphone by pressing and holding the Multi Function button for 8–10 seconds until the voice prompt says - "Power Off"- then set them aside.
Place both headphones back into the case and close the lid. Leave them for 2 minutes to charge and reset.
-
Reopen the lid and remove the headphones. They will attempt to Dual Pair with each other automatically.
One headphone will flash red and white (Primary Unit),
The other will flash white only (Secondary Unit).
Turn Bluetooth back on on your device and select “MIXX AirFlow” from the available list to reconnect.
