If you're finding that the battery on your MIXX Stream Q C4 Noise Cancelling Headphones is depleting faster than expected, the most likely cause is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) / Transparency Mode remaining active when not in use.
Please Note:
The ANC button operates independently of the main power button and cycles through three modes:
ANC On – Reduces external noise (uses battery)
Transparency Mode – Allows ambient sound in (uses battery)
ANC Off – Disables both ANC and Transparency (does not use battery)
Even if the headphones are switched off, if the ANC button is set to either ANC On or Transparency Mode, it will continue to draw power—causing the battery to drain unnecessarily.
How to Prevent This:
Always ensure the ANC button is set to ANC Off when not in use.
Check the indicator light next to the ANC button:
A steady or flashing light means ANC or Transparency Mode is active.
No light indicates the feature is switched off and conserving battery.
This functionality is designed to allow you to use ANC or Transparency Mode even when not connected via Bluetooth—ideal for reducing background noise during travel or remaining aware of your surroundings.
However, for optimal battery life, it’s important to switch the ANC mode to ‘Off’ when these features are not needed.
