The Mixx StreamQ C4 headphones can be connected to a device using either a Bluetooth wireless connection or the supplied 3.5mm audio cable.
First-time Bluetooth pairing (straight from the box)
If you’ve just taken your Mixx StreamQ C4 headphones out of the box, they should automatically be in pairing mode when powered on for the first time.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your chosen device.
- Press and hold the Multi-function Touch Sensor on the headphones to power them on. You will hear a voice prompt say, "Power on", and the LED will begin flashing red and blue, indicating that the headphones are in pairing mode.
- On your device, search for MIXX StreamQ C4 in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Once selected, you will hear "Connected" and the LED indicator will turn off. Your headphones are now ready to use wirelessly.
Pairing to a new device (if previously connected)
If you have previously used your headphones and are now trying to pair them with a new device:
- Remove the MIXX StreamQ C4 headphones from the Bluetooth menus of any previously paired devices.
- Turn off the Bluetooth on the new device you want to connect to.
- Press and hold the Multi-function Touch Sensor to turn the headphones on.
- If the LED is flashing red and blue, the headphones are in pairing mode.
- If you hear "Connected" and the LED turns off, they are still connected to the last paired device. Locate that device and remove the headphones from its Bluetooth menu.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your new device and search for MIXX StreamQ C4. Once paired, you will hear "Connected" and the LED will turn off. You're now ready to enjoy wireless audio.
To connect using the audio cable:
- Ensure your device has a 3.5mm audio port and that it is clean.
- Locate the 3.5mm audio cable supplied with your headphones.
- Plug one end of the cable into the 3.5mm audio port on the StreamQ C4 headphones.
- Insert the other end into your device’s 3.5mm audio port. You can now listen to music, podcasts or videos without using the headphones' battery.
