Yes, the MIXX Resonate Pro is waterproof and specifically designed for swimming and water-based activities, but it's important to use the correct mode while doing so.
The Resonate Pro is rated IP68, which means it is dust-tight and protected against continuous submersion in water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes. This makes it ideal for pool sessions, open water swimming, or even intense workouts where sweat is a factor.
However, Bluetooth signals do not transmit through water, so you’ll need to use MP3 mode when swimming.
To switch modes:
- Double press the Multifunction Button to toggle between Bluetooth and MP3 mode.
- A voice prompt will confirm the change.
When in MP3 mode, the headphones play audio directly from files stored on the internal memory—perfect for use in the pool or sea.
Important:
- Do not charge the headphones while wet.
- Use a soft, dry cloth (ideally microfibre) to thoroughly dry the headphones and charging contacts before recharging.
