Getting Started with Your MIXX StreamQ D2 Headphones
Connecting via Bluetooth (First Time Pairing)
Pairing your MIXX StreamQ D2 headphones is quick and easy. If you’ve just taken them out of the box, they’ll automatically be in pairing mode the first time you power them on. Here's what to do:
- Switch on Bluetooth on your phone, tablet, or other device.
- Press and hold the power button on the headphones for a few seconds until the LED light flashes blue and white– this means they’re in pairing mode.
- In your device’s Bluetooth settings, select ‘MIXX StreamQ D2’ from the list of available devices.
- You’ll hear a voice prompt say “Connected”, and the LED will stop flashing – your headphones are now ready to use wirelessly.
The headphones will automatically reconnect to your device every time you switch them on, as long as Bluetooth is enabled.
Pairing to a New Device (After Initial Setup)
If you’ve already paired your StreamQ D3 headphones with another device and now want to connect them to something new:
- Remove ‘MIXX StreamQ D2’ from the Bluetooth menu of any previously paired devices.
- Turn off Bluetooth on your old device to avoid automatic reconnection.
- Turn on the headphones by pressing and holding the power button.
- If the LED flashes blue and white, they’re in pairing mode and ready to connect.
- If you hear “Connected” instead, they’ve reconnected to a previous device — disconnect them from that device first.
- Now, enable Bluetooth on your new device and select ‘MIXX StreamQ D2’ to pair.
Using the Headphones with a Cable (Wired Mode)
Prefer a wired connection? Or is your battery running low? No problem – your MIXX StreamQ D2 headphones can also be used with the included 3.5mm audio cable.
To connect:
- Make sure your device has a clean 3.5mm headphone port.
- Plug one end of the supplied cable into the port on the headphones.
- Plug the other end into your device.
Wired mode works even if the battery is empty, and it won’t use any power – ideal for long journeys or flights.
Having Trouble Pairing?
If you're having difficulty connecting your MIXX StreamQ D2 headphones:
- Double-check that the headphones are in pairing mode (blue and white flashing LED).
- Ensure no other device is actively connected to the headphones.
- Remove the headphones from your device’s Bluetooth list and try again from scratch.
