Setting up your Mixx Analog System 5 is quick and straightforward. The System 5 includes the Mixx Analog 5 turntable and a pair of Mixx Silver Point 5 Bluetooth speakers, which are linked together by cable and controlled either on-unit or via the remote. Here’s how to get everything up and running:
1. Powering On – Important Information About Power Adapters
The turntable and the speakers use different power adapters, and it’s essential that each product is powered using the correct one.
The Mixx Analog 5 turntable uses the power adapter supplied with the turntable.
The Mixx Silver Point 5 speakers use their own dedicated power adapter.
Using the wrong power adapter on either device can damage the product and will void your warranty.
If you lose or misplace an adapter, please contact us directly and we’ll help you obtain the correct replacement.
We strongly advise not using third-party adapters, as incorrect voltage or polarity can permanently damage internal components.
Once you have the correct adapters connected:
Place the turntable on a stable, level surface.
Connect the power adapter firmly into the turntable’s DC input.
Power the speakers using their own adapter and ensure the two speakers are linked using the supplied cable.
2. Connecting to the Speakers (Bluetooth Mode)
If you’re using the System 5 bundle, you can connect the turntable to the Silver Point 5 speakers wirelessly:
Set the turntable to Bluetooth mode
Slide the Line Out / BT switch on the turntable to BT.
The LED on the turntable will flash blue, indicating it’s ready to pair.Prepare the speakers
Power them on.
Use the remote control to select Bluetooth mode.
Pairing
The speakers will search automatically and connect to the turntable.
Once paired, the LED on the turntable will turn solid blue.
3. Playing Your Records
Place a record on the platter and select 33 or 45 RPM using the On/Off & Speed knob.
(Use the included 45 RPM adaptor if needed.)Remove the stylus protector.
Release the tonearm using the tonearm clip.
Lift the tonearm with the lift lever, position it over the record, and gently lower it.
The platter will start spinning automatically once the tonearm moves towards the vinyl. When you’re finished listening, lift the tonearm using the lever, return it to the rest, and secure it in place.
Tip: Always use the lift lever rather than lifting the cartridge by hand to avoid damaging the needle or your records.
4. Optional Wired Connections (Line Out or Phono)
If you’re setting up the record player on its own, or using your own audio equipment, you can connect via:
A. PHONO Output (for amps with PHONO IN)
Switch PH/Line to PH.
Connect using the RCA outputs.
Attach a ground wire from the turntable’s ground terminal to your amplifier.
Ensure the BT/Line Out switch is set to Line Out.
B. LINE OUT (for powered speakers or AUX/Line In)
Switch PH/Line to Line.
Connect via RCA to your speakers or amplifier.
Ensure the BT/Line Out switch is set to Line Out.
5. Standby Mode
If the turntable isn’t used for a while, it will automatically enter standby mode to conserve energy.
