Yes, you can use each earbud on its own.
We recommend that you first connect the earbuds to your chosen device as a pair.
Once set up in stereo you can simply remove each earbud individually from the case and use on their own.
To use them in stereo again, you would just need to remove the other bud and they will automatically dual pair together.
If the earbuds do not automatically dual pair together when both are removed from the case,
Please follow the steps below:
1. Check Both Earbuds Are Turning On
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
- You’ll know they’re on if:
- The LED light flashes, or
- You hear “Power on” from the earbud.
If either earbud doesn’t turn on:
- Make sure they’re properly charged.
- Try placing them back in the case for a few moments, then removing again.

2. Make Sure They’re Not Already Connected
If your StreamBuds Ultra Dots are connected to another device, this may prevent pairing:
- On all nearby devices, remove or ‘forget’ any existing StreamBuds Ultra Dots connections in the Bluetooth menu.
- Once all previous connections are cleared, Then try connecting to them again using this guide
