If your MIXX StreamQ Surround headphones aren’t powering on, connecting properly, or you're not getting any sound, don’t worry — here are a few simple checks you can try to get things working again.
Check the Battery
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds. If there’s no sound or LED light, the battery may simply be flat.
- Plug in the headphones using the USB-C charging cable provided and leave them to charge for at least 15 minutes.
- While charging, you should see a small red LED light. If no light appears, try using a different USB-C cable or a reliable USB power source.
Check the Bluetooth Pairing with a Bluetooth enabled device
- If you’ve previously connected the headphones to another device (like a phone or tablet), they may still be trying to reconnect to it.
- Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and remove or forget ‘MIXX StreamQ Surround’.
- Then turn off Bluetooth on the device for a moment.
- Now, press and hold the power button on the headphones until the LED flashes Red and Blue, which means they’re in pairing mode.
- Turn Bluetooth back on, and select ‘StreamQ Surround’ to pair again.
Check the MIXX StreamPort Transmitter Connection
If you’re using the StreamQ Surround headphones with your TV and StreamPort transmitter, make sure the transmitter is:
- Firmly connected to your TV using either the optical audio cable or 3.5mm audio cable.
- Receiving power via USB — the LED should be lit.
- In pairing mode, if it’s not already connected. The LED will flash while pairing and stay solid once connected.
Also, make sure your headphones haven’t automatically connected to a different Bluetooth device nearby, which can prevent them from linking with the transmitter.
